MQ07 - Empirical project work
As part of this key qualification, students write an empirical project paper on current research topics in financing start-ups and growth companies. The students independently collect data, create a data set and evaluate it in a scientifically appropriate way. The module is designed for students who are interested in empirical research in the field of economics.
The project work is always done in a small group of up to three students. After consultation with the chair, the students complete a quantitative or qualitative-empirical project work (max. 8,000 words / 25 pages).
The results of the project work are to be presented in a 20-minute presentation. This is followed by a discussion of about 10 minutes. The grade of the project work is made up of the written work and the presentation.
